Night Service is a first-person browser game played on a PSP-style handheld console. November 1987: for five nights you are the overnight operator of a small radio station up a mountain valley. Eat at home, drive the valley road up to the station, keep it on the air until morning, and drive home again. Nothing chases you; the nights just get stranger.
I designed and wrote the game, built the handheld and its interface, and coded the world, the car, the station and the nights in three.js. Reactor generated the road footage that plays on the station's TV. It plays with the keyboard or with the handheld's own buttons.
